Porsche sold 250 000 Cayenne

For 7 years the production of luxury sports vsadehod reached 250 000 copies. Anniversary model is the latest addition to the range Cayenne Diesel.

Porsche announced that the factory in Leipzig has produced 250-thousand copy of the model Cayenne. The car is Cayenne Diesel and is ordered by a customer in Austria.
Porsche introduced the Cayenne for the first time in 2002 and started production of the model at its plant in Leipzig. The car immediately gained immense popularity. The first generation model were sold over 150 000 copies. In 2007 Porsche introduced the second generation Cayenne, which has an even greater market success. In less than 2 years of the model were sold almost 100 000 copies. The biggest markets are Germany, the model and the U.S., but Porsche realized significant sales of the Cayenne also in China, Russia, Latin America and the Middle East.

The newest Cayenne Diesel is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 240 horsepower power whose average fuel consumption is only 9.3 l/100 km. The most powerful version is the Cayenne Turbo S with 550 horsepower output. Porsche Cayenne Transsyberia ofroud is the modification of the sports SUV with increased opportunities to move off the road.
