The largest European automobile company Volkswagen is already owned by Porsche, forward AFP.

The share of Porsche in VW increased from 42% to 50.76%. In this situation under the law in Sweden Porsche must bid for the purchase of the remaining share of Scania, in which VW is a major shareholder. Porsche intends to offer the lowest possible price for Scania, as the German company has no strategic interest to buy all the Swedish manufacturer of trucks.
Already last year Porsche intended to increase its share in VW to more than 50 percent, but was forced to postpone the operation because of incredibly high price of the shares of the biggest European car company.
